Dan Danielson, 79, died Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Silvercrest at Woodlands Creek. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, November 13th at Iles Westover Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Iles Westover Chapel at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 14 with burial to follow at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Dan shared care and compassion with the many families he served and mentored generations of funeral service professionals who were fortunate to work with him. Dan retired as Vice President of Iles Funeral Homes in 2010 and continued to work part time for another eleven years.
