Patricia Ann Jones, daughter of Harold F. and Bertha (Beetham) Trafton was born January 25, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was baptized at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in St. Louis. Her family moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1948 when her father took a position at Mercy Hospital. She attended Duchense Academy in Omaha, Nebraska and later graduated from College of St. Mary, where she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting.
She is survived by children Deborah (Rowland) Burton of Irwin, IA; Deanne (Craig) Kroger of Harlan, IA; Beth (Scott) Andersen of Ankeny, IA; Mike (Anna) Jones of Harlan, IA; daughter-in-law Betts Jones of Harlan, IA; 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; siblings Mary Kay (Sal) Carta of Omaha, NE; Bette (Randy) Schmidt of Carter Lake, IA; Harry (Toni) Trafton of Underwood, IA; Teresa (Gerry) Blackburn of Estero, FL. Patricia is the mother of IFDA Past President, Mike Jones.
