The Iowa Funeral Directors Association provides the following audio-visual equipment (listed below) for all speakers. Please indicate the equipment you require/will be using. Speakers are responsible for the arrangement and cost of additional AV equipment not requested in advance of speaking engagement.

Booking Arrangements and Expenses

The Iowa Funeral Directors Association is honored to have you as a part of our speaker lineup for 2024. We are happy to make arrangements on your behalf or reimburse arrangements you have made for yourself (within reason and accordance with the Additional Speaker Terms & Conditions document) for travel, lodging and meal expenses.

Please indicate your needs in this section and indicate whether you would prefer the arrangements be made for you or if you will manage them and submit for reimbursement.
Please enter your estimated round trip mileage to and from Prairie Meadows in Altoona. You may also type “waive” and your reimbursement may serve as a donation to IFDA. (IFDA will reimburse $0.655/mile)
Hotel Accommodations Needed?

Your hotel stay will be booked as a part of the IFDA block at the convention center. Confirmations will be sent prior to the session.
Nights Needed
Please indicate which nights you would like us to hold you a room in the block.
Meals Needed
Please indicate what you will be present for as a part of Convention. Please note that for breakfast and lunch on the convention days we will need to include you in our counts if you plan to join us onsite for these meals. As meals are being provided, should you choose to eat offsite for these, those meals are not reimbursable.

Speaker Honorarium/Payment

While many of our speakers are industry volunteers or Allied members of IFDA who speak as a service to the organization and donate their time, we understand that some of our keynote and guest speakers need to charge a fee for this work and may incur travel expenses etc.
Please indicate below the agreed upon, contracted amount you will be charging IFDA.(Required)
Unless outlined otherwise in a different contract, please note that your speaker fee will be presented to you via check from IFDA either when you check in to speak or as you depart. The staff at the registration desk will hold your check until then.
If you selected C or D above please indicate the amount IFDA will need to present to you via check at convention.
