INFORMATION COLLECTION
Visitors to IFDA’s website are anonymous. Personal information, such as your e-mail address
is not collected. Your IP address (computer Internet address) is traced, but not linked to any
personally identifiable information so that IFDA may track the number of visitors to various
areas of the website and the amount of time that is spent in each area. Other information that
may be collected automatically is the type of computer and operating system you are using,
which is supplied by your browser.
When you register for a conference, become a member, or purchase/request a product or service,

address and credit card information. IFDA also collects and uses your personal information to
operate its website and deliver the services you have requested. Additionally, IFDA uses your

Association Use
Because of the special relationship we seek to maintain with our members, IFDA may, on
occasion, send you e-mails regarding the association, news, events and products.

secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

IFDA does not sell, rent or lease its member list to third parties. IFDA may, from to time,
contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of
interest to you. IFDA may also provide the business partner with contact information for
members, but only under contractual terms that restricts the use of that information only to the
IFDA program and for no other purposes. In addition, IFDA may share data with third parties
to help IFDA perform statistical analysis, send you e-mail or postal mail, provide customer
support, or arrange for deliveries. In all such cases, the third parties are prohibited from using
your personal information except to provide those services to IFDA, and they are required to
maintain the confidentiality of your information.
IFDA does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political
affiliations, without your explicit consent.
